WHO WE ARE

Our first concept, ThoroughBread,  began in 2018 as one small bakery focused on doing things the right way.  As our business grew, so did our curiosity. We became obsessed with understanding how food is made and why finding quality food we trust is so difficult. 

 

We realized that what is lacking in the current grocery store is what makes our bread so good and is the basis of all great food: quality ingredients, made with care, with no artificial additives or preservatives. From there, we started looking beyond bread, asking how we could provide real, delicious food to people every day.

 

That question became the foundation for our newest venture: ThoroughFare. We’re taking the same principles that have guided our bakery — fresh, made-from-scratch food, clean ingredients, and uncompromising standards — and applying them across a full market experience.  Bakery, café, deli, and grocery, all made by us, all held to the same bar.  No seed oils.  No artificial preservatives,  colors,  flavors,  gums, or  fillers.  No shortcuts.  Just real food. 

 

At ThoroughFare, we make fresh food in our kitchen every day, with the same ingredients you use in yours.
